I moved away from the area over 5 years ago and the one thing I always do when I come home every year is make an appt with Douglas. I still haven't found someone as good as him in my new state.
Douglas has been the best person I have found for my hair in years. I have never walked out disappointed, plus I love our chats during the appointment.
Been going to Douglas for 10-12 years by now and this latest haircut was the most memorable - and one of his finest pieces of work. My 9 year old daughter cut my hair just for fun and it was a predictable mess. Looked like four bowl cuts in one. It also killed 15 months of hard work by my friend, Douglas. (sorry, big guy). After laughing and grabbing a few shots, he went to work to see what he could salvage. And it worked out FANTASTIC!!!! Got a ton of compliments on the cut - and it was only meant to be a rescue job. The man is talented. And PATIENT.
I was nervous to get my hair done with bright red ombre but I'd been wanting it for a while so I put my trust in Doug and WOW! It turned out better than I ever imagined! So beautiful and unique! What talent!
I am new to the area and was in search of a stylist supreme. Thank GOD I stumbled upon this site and these reviews!!! Douglas is everything these reviews say and MORE!! Not only will you love what he can do with your hair (mine is thick and coarse and generally hard to cut), but if you don't immediately love Douglas, then I don't know what to say to you. AMAZING! LOVE, love, love this guy and my haircut. Simply THE best!! Yay!!

A brilliant artist. He is not only extremely talented with a pair of scissors, his wonderful and charming personality makes the experience fun, relaxing and a true joy.
